Rod A. Vujovic, J.D., LL.M.

Rod Vujovic is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where he received his law degree (J.D.) in 1996, and a Masters of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Health Law in 2001.

Rod is also a proud graduate of Appalachian State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, in 1993, where he was a Dean’s List student. He also has associate’s degrees in criminal justice and accounting. Rod is licensed to practice law in the states of North Carolina, Illinois, and Iowa.

After law school, his legal background has been concentrated in the field of consumer bankruptcy law; including working as an attorney for the Midwest’s largest consumer bankruptcy firm, as well as a Chicago area general practice law firm handling cases in consumer bankruptcy law, family law, real estate law, and estate planning, where Rod was the primary attorney handling consumer bankruptcy matters.

Rod is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Bankruptcy Law Section, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, Associate Member (NACCT), and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Rod is also a member of the Western District of North Carolina Bankruptcy Association, the Catawba County Bar Association, the Watauga County Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the North Carolina 36th Judicial District Bar Association. His practice has always been concentrated 100% in consumer bankruptcy law representation and debt relief/debt options consultation.

In addition to his three decades of experience in bankruptcy law and debt relief options, Rod has over 30 years of professional experience in broadcasting. He has worked as a radio announcer and radio operations manager/ broadcast program director, using the radio name “Rod Allen”, at radio stations in Lenoir, Hickory, and Charlotte, North Carolina. While in law school, he worked as an on-air personality for The Walt Disney Company (DIS), WLS-FM / ABC Radio in Chicago, the nation’s third-largest market.

In addition to helping you escape the pressures of excessive debt, predatory lending practices, and unfortunate, unforeseen financial circumstances in life; Rod’s goal is to explain and help you through the legal process and to make your transition to a fresh financial start as trouble-free as possible.

Rod is a supporter of various charities: including homeless military veterans, children’s issues, local food banks/pantries, preserving nature and wildlife; and local pet rescue organizations – spay/neuter programs to reduce the unwanted pet population and to encourage the adoption of rescue pets from local shelters.

Rod enjoys nature and outdoor activities, as well as spending time with his family, friends, and his two rescue dogs, Max and Ted.
